Developing authentic Christ-sharing relationships with youth in Alaska

Approximately 110,000 teens, between the ages of 11-19, live in the state of Alaska. Alaska was the state with the highest rate of suicidal death among adolescents in the U.S. in 2020. We seek to change these types of statistics by placing a special emphasis on developing authentic Christ-sharing relationships with youth in Alaska! Youth for Christ Alaska reaches students in public schools and community centers across the State; however, that is not all. We are also actively pursuing kids throughout the bush communities as well! Through prayer, financial and volunteer support we receive from others, YFC Alaska, along with YFC USA, wishes to partner with the Body of Christ to reach 1,000,000 youth nationwide in the form of Christ-sharing relationships.
